jam.fan
Finds musicians near you who want to play what you play. You hear each one before you say hi.
About
Every evening jam.fan hands you a setlist of six musicians near you, each with one honest reason you’d play well together: “You both play indie rock”, “Looking for vocals, which you play”.
Play the set and hear each of them full screen, from a video showcase or an audio demo, before you say a word. Send a Jam, and when it’s mutual the chat opens with three openers built from what you both play.
Matching runs on musical compatibility rather than keyword filters, and one account can hold several identities, each with its own instruments, genres and clips: drummer in one band, producer at midnight.
It’s a solo build, from the idea and the design to the backend, the apps and the servers it runs on.
